  5. Have a running clock in AppleWorks and other text-based applications.

  7. HOW DO I USE IT?

  9. Copy it to your system disk (see end of article).  Now, when you next boot up that system disk, you can type Open-Apple╤Control╤ESC to get to the Classic Desk Accessory menu, then choose ╥Omni Clock╙ from the menu.

  11. You can turn Omni Clock On or Off, and you can choose six different formats for the time and date.  To see how to place it on screen, press ╥?╙ when you are in the Omni Clock CDA to get Help.  This will explain everything about installing Omni Clock, placing it on the screen, and so forth.

  15. Omni Clock uses what are called ╥heartbeat interrupts╙ to do all the neat things it does.  Thus it will not work with other programs that use heartbeat interrupts, like TimeOut UltraMacros.  However, most text╨based programs won╒t be messing with these interrupts.

  17. COPYING OMNI CLOCK TO YOUR OWN DISK

  19. You may install the desk accessory by choosing ╥File Copier╙ from the File menu (or pressing Open-Apple F).  It will be installed on your system disk.
